• First select the seedlings having stem width of 2-4mm. The stem width of the scion and rootstock must be same and they must be same family.
• Give an upward slant cut to the roostock at 45 degree angle leaving 5cm from the base using sharp blade/ knife.
• Now insert half of the grafting tube into the rootstock.
• Now give a downward slant cut to the scion at 45 degree angle leaving 5 cm from the top of the scion.
• Now insert the scion into the remaining half of the grafting tube.
• Make sure the slant cuts of both scion and rootstock is matched inside the tube, So that the graft union will be successful.
• After grafting, place the grafted seedlings inside the healing chamber for 8 days.
• After 8 days the plants will be united, now take the seedlings out from the healing chamber and place them inside greenhouse/ shade net for another 7 days for complete healing.
• Then transplant the seedlings in the grow bag/ main field. The tubes will be self detached from the plants after 45 days from the date of transplanting.
